This study is the research practicum component of a course taught by Dr. Matthew Wolfgram in the Department of Education Policy Studies at UW-Madison. With Dr. Wolfgram’s research mentorship, students engaged with advocates from the refugee communities in Madison, to conduct a PAR project to identify ways to better support the resettlement and flourishing of refugees in our community. The first iteration of the course and PAR practicum was conducted in 2023 with refugee resettlement service providers with refugee background, and the second in 2024 with Palestinian immigrant community organizers.
